Before
Sofia built the budget model herself, refining it over months until the whole team came to rely on it. The hard part is behind her. The model works. What's left is keeping it fed.
So at the start of every cycle she goes back to the sources. She exports the latest figures, reshapes them, and pastes each one into the right place in the model, checking carefully that nothing shifted along the way. It's slow, and it's the same slow work every time. Last cycle one of the sources changed its format and an input quietly broke, and she didn't catch it until the numbers downstream looked off. By then the model had been running on the wrong figures for a week. The model is only ever as current as the last evening she sat down and refreshed it by hand, and that evening always lands on her.
After
Sofia's model hasn't changed. What's changed is how it gets fed.
The sources are connected once through Arkx, and from then on the pipeline pulls the latest figures into clean, governed tables on its own. The model reads straight from those tables instead of from anything she pasted in, so when she opens it on the first of the cycle, it's already current. And when a source shifts upstream, the flow shows her exactly which step it touched, instead of letting a broken input slip into the model unnoticed the way it did before.
The model she spent months getting right keeps working, and now it keeps itself current, without her rebuilding it by hand every cycle.
